In your menu bar, at the top right of the screen: look for the lens icon. Click it for the overview, then click any card for its panel. To open Scope every time you log in, turn on Launch Scope at login in Preferences.

Click any reading and Scope explains it in a sentence. Scope doesn’t score your Mac or promise to speed it up; it shows what’s happening and what usually helps.

Scope records which apps use your network while it runs, so the list fills in as time passes. A range longer than Scope has been recording says when recording began. Traffic from before Scope started isn’t counted.

macOS shares Wi-Fi names only with apps you allow to use Location. Choose Show name in the Network panel to allow it. Scope never asks for your coordinates.

Yes. Scope asks once, in a standard Mac Open panel, for your home folder, which it only reads, or the drive you chose, and remembers your answer. It lists names and sizes; it doesn’t open your files.

When the menu bar is crowded, macOS hides items that don’t fit, especially beside the camera housing on some MacBooks. Remove items you don’t need, or show fewer Scope readings in a module’s Menu Bar settings.

Choose Try Free in any panel or in Preferences, then Start Free Trial, and Apple asks you to confirm. You get 14 days of every Scope Pro feature at no cost. Afterwards Scope returns to Scope Free and keeps your settings. There’s no subscription and no automatic charge.

Open Scope, go to Preferences and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Scope Pro with.

With Ask to Buy, Scope shows that it’s waiting for approval. Scope Pro unlocks as soon as it’s approved.

Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
